Data & code availability
Data availability
The BigMac data are openly available via the Digital Brain Bank, where you can also view some of the coregistered MRI and microscopy data using the interactive viewer: https://open.win.ox.ac.uk/DigitalBrainBank/#/datasets/anatomist
Z-stat maps linking fMRI and behaviour from the same animal are available via Grohn 2020 (doi:10.1371/journal.pbio.3000899) and Sallet 2020 (doi:10.1371/journal.pbio.3000605). Complementary in vivo data from another 19 subjects (structural and resting-state fMRI) are available via the primate data exchange (PRIME-DE): https://fcon_1000.projects.nitrc.org/indi/PRIME/oxford.html.
To help you navigate through the data and understand what files are available, the links below describe the naming and structure of the postmortem files in BigMac.
Code availability
Code to help you get working with the data is available at: https://git.fmrib.ox.ac.uk/amyh/bigmacanalysis
This includes basic MRI-microscopy tutorials, notebooks showing how you can assess the quality of the MRI-microscopy coregistration for some microscopy slide of interest, scripts related to data preprocessing, and code to reproduce the analyses and Figures in the paper.
